National Luna Intelligent Solenoid 12v

The National Luna Intelligent Solenoid 12V allows you to safely connect a second battery, such as a leisure battery, to your vehicle. This lets you power devices like fridges, lights, or other accessories without draining your starter battery. The system automatically manages charging and protects both batteries.

The Intelligent Solenoid is a heavy-duty dual battery isolator designed for 12V systems. Using advanced voltage sensing and a built-in timer, it automatically manages charge between the main and auxiliary battery. After engine start, the main battery is given a 5-minute recovery period before the auxiliary battery is connected in parallel. When the engine stops, the solenoid disconnects the auxiliary battery at 12.7V to protect the starter battery.

Built-in safety features include protection against reverse polarity, flat or missing auxiliary batteries, and voltage drop under load. With a continuous current rating of 85A and ultra-low standby consumption of only 19mA, the Intelligent Solenoid delivers reliable performance for 4x4 vehicles, campervans, commercial trucks and off-grid applications.
